Saint Raphael Health affiliate acquires former First Baptist Medical Center in Dallas
St. Raphael Health – Dallas, an affiliate of Saint Raphael Health, has acquired nearly all of the assets of the former Dallas-based First Baptist Medical Center, according to a July 31 news release.
The facility now operates under new ownership and management as St. Raphael Health – Dallas. The hospital includes five surgical operating rooms, 14 inpatient rooms, four family suites, and four intensive care unit rooms.
St. Raphael Health – Dallas CEO Don Vickers said in the release that the priority is to make the hospital feel organized, responsive, and human, with stronger systems behind the scenes and clear engagement for patients.
St. Raphael Health – Dallas is a physician-owned hospital offering surgical and inpatient services. Saint Raphael Health is an organization that brings together hospital operators, physicians, and business leaders to support hospitals, per the release.
