Boys Town National Research Hospital in Omaha has started vertical construction on a 254,000-square-foot expansion, with steel elements now rising on the campus near 144th and Pacific Streets. The east wing will contain expanded hospital-associated clinics, while the west wing will house the Dr. Wayne L. Ryan Clinic and Research Center, named for a lead gift from the Ryan Foundation. Boys Town President and CEO Rod Kempkes said the nearly $300 million project is slated for completion in November 2026.
