Carilion Clinic names Jefferson Health's Christopher Cullom COO
Christopher Cullom has been appointed chief operating officer of Roanoke, Va.-based Carilion Clinic, according to an Aug. 5 LinkedIn post from President and CEO Steve Arner. Arner cited Cullom's experience leading complex healthcare organizations and improving operations with a focus on quality, safety, patient experience and employee engagement.
Cullom joins Carilion from Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health, where he served as COO of Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals since September 2023, overseeing Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Jefferson Methodist Hospital and Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, per his LinkedIn profile. Previously, he was president of the South region for Newtown Square, Pa.-based Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.
