Mayo Clinic Health System in Wisconsin names Alyssa Chapital VP
Alyssa Chapital, MD, PhD, has been named vice president of Mayo Clinic Health System in Wisconsin, effective Nov. 3, according to an Aug. 11 LinkedIn post reported by Becker's Hospital Review.

Chapital will succeed Richard Helmers, MD, who has held the vice president role for the past two years. She brings more than 20 years of leadership experience at Mayo Clinic in Arizona, where she chairs the clinical practice committee and serves as vice chair of the executive operations team.
Chapital is also an associate professor of Surgery at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minn. In her new role, she will partner with administrative and nursing leaders Kenneth Ackerman and Kelly Buchholtz to advance care across Wisconsin communities, per the release.
