Helix's technology adds adaptive underpayment detection that scans all zero-balance claims regardless of size, clinical signal detection that cross-references documentation and coding against payer reimbursements, and root-cause analytics to prevent future losses. This replaces traditional rules-based audit logic with pattern-recognition algorithms.

EnableComp supports over 1,000 hospitals and recovers approximately $3 billion annually. Early deployments of Helix's technology reportedly yielded net revenue improvements exceeding 2% on previously unrecognized or written-off revenue. Helix founder Zack Higbie joins EnableComp as Vice President of Revenue Recovery Products, with backing from private equity firm Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe.
