WellSpan Health Names David Gasperack, DO, as Medical Group CMO
WellSpan Health, a 12-hospital system based in York, Pa., announced on Sept. 8 that it has promoted David Gasperack, DO, to system senior vice president and chief medical officer for the WellSpan Medical Group. The appointment was effective Sept. 6.

Dr. Gasperack has worked at WellSpan for more than 20 years, serving in multiple capacities. His most recent role was senior vice president of primary care and population health; he has also served as a family physician and a regional chief medical officer for the system.
According to the health system, Dr. Gasperack's prior work helped advance its physician engagement, population health strategies, value-based care initiatives, and clinical quality efforts.
