Doctors Hospital of Laredo Appoints Perla Chavez as Freestanding ED Clinical Director
Doctors Hospital of Laredo has named Perla Chavez its new Freestanding Emergency Department (FED) Clinical Director, according to a Sept. 8, 2026, announcement.

Chavez joined the hospital in 2021, working at its ER South location. She transitioned to emergency nursing in 2019 after beginning her career in 2018 on a medical-surgical, orthopedic, and neurological unit.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas A&M International University in 2018.
