USA Health Names Josh Snow Market CEO of Adult Hospitals Division
Mobile, Ala.-based USA Health named Josh Snow market CEO of its adult hospitals division, overseeing University Hospital and Providence Hospital, according to a Sept. 16 health system news release cited by Becker's Hospital Review. Snow currently serves as CEO of University Hospital.
In the expanded role, Snow will lead both adult hospitals, which are located roughly 8 miles apart. USA Health said the integrated approach is intended to strengthen its academic and clinical enterprise and improve coordination and efficiency across its hospitals.
"Bringing University Hospital and Providence Hospital together under unified leadership positions us to build on the strengths of both campuses while creating a more coordinated experience for our patients, physicians, staff and community," USA Health CEO Natalie Fox, DNP, said in the release.
University Hospital will remain focused on specialized, intensive medical care, while Providence Hospital will focus on cardiovascular, pulmonary, vascular and surgical services alongside a growing medicine service line.
