Commure details sales engineer's role in UAE Ambient AI pilot
Commure published a Sept. 18, 2026 account describing how one of its sales engineers supported a 60-day pilot of its Ambient AI product at a hospital group in the United Arab Emirates. According to the company's blog post, the engineer traveled to Dubai and worked on-site with providers while coordinating with engineering on product changes.
The post says providers at the site switched between English and Arabic within a single visit, prompting work on language detection intended to apply across all languages Ambient supports rather than a single customer. A second change to provider activity logic was reportedly reviewed by engineering and pushed live for the customer within a week, and notes across the site generated 20% faster two days after the language change shipped, per Commure.
The account also describes the engineer's broader sales engineering duties, including mockups and proofs of concept, technical scoping of integrations, account and template configuration, and release-note coordination for a large health system. Commure says some documentation was migrated from PatientKeeper repositories more than twenty years old.
