Southcoast Health wins NRC Health 2026 patient experience award, third time
Southcoast Health said on Sept. 22, 2026, that it received the NRC Health 2026 Excellence in Patient Experience Award for Small Health Systems. According to the system, it is the third time Southcoast has received the national recognition.

NRC Health bases the award on Net Promoter Score, a measure of how likely patients are to recommend a health system based on their experience. Southcoast reported an all-time high Net Promoter Score of 86.8 this year.
The system attributed the recognition to its patient experience efforts across patients, families and communities.
